Are there any other loop antennas that would be good for the Grundig G6? I have a coupler if you have seen the video from my profile, and the coupler uses a loop antenna that is untuned. What is the best way to get DX LW reception from overseas in the East Coast with the G6?

Just got a G6 and really enjoying..Haven’t tried LW beacons, but SSB ham QSOs are great with just the whip.

For SW can use insulated wire & alligator clip1)before you connect the clip to the whip antenna ground it to discharge static electricity to protect the receiver 2)try different lengths and place as much outdoors as possible. Best length for a given freq = 234/f MHz, ie for 10MHz the antenna would be 23 ft long or3) dipole of two (23 ft) wires; coax cable braid soldered to one wire & coax center conductor soldered to other wire, plug on end of cable to ANT socket, center wire to tip, braid gound
