Grundig FR200 Emergency Radio
I purchased the Grundig FR200 Emergency Radio
as part of an emergency kit I’m putting together. Unfortunately I’ll have to find another radio.

Great little radio
Works almost as advertised. After a recent bad storm, we were without power for a week. This unit would get about an hour of service after cranking for about 90 seconds.

Good radio for the money…
A nice emergency table top news provider. Sound was fine for information…wouldn’t brag too much for music…but hey, it is like a 3″ speaker…

Stay away, Grundig FR200 is useless junk
I did not purchase this from Amazon. I had my FR200 radio for a while and was pretty pleased with myself when the power went out… until I tried to actually use it.

Great Value for the Money
Excellent reception on AM & FM Bands. Shortwave band reception is mostly limited to the strongest stations. Small and compact with decent sound for a portable.

Meets basic needs – get the adapter!
I’ve had this radio for many years. I use it maybe 10 days out of the year (camping, BBQs, gardening).

Emergency Radio
This radio is sold under several brands, and is good for daily use as well as for emergencies because it picks up signals from a longer distance than most radios.

Best Radio for the Price
Grundig Radios are exceptionally good portable radios. I have two or three around the house each tuned to a different station, because they’re so inexpensive.

A decent emergency wind-up radio, albeit a bit dated
This is the Grundig FR-200. It’s decent, but I do have some nits.
THE GOOD:
* Sound quality: Although mono, it’s adequate.

A Good Value but I’m Disappointed
As an emergency radio, it works great. The “crank generator” is relatively easy to use, the case and controls are solid and the sound quality is very good.
